Apartment Fire Near NRG Arena Leaves Residents Displaced, Two Hospitalized
On Thursday morning, January 2, 2025, Houston Fire Department crews responded to an apartment fire on S. Bartell near NRG Arena.
Four individuals were rescued from the burning building. One resident and one firefighter were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The American Red Cross Texas Gulf Coast is assisting residents displaced by the fire. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
