Burglary Suspects Apprehended with Stolen Goods in Montgomery County

Damon Sexton, 32, and Douglas Chapman, 30, were arrested on February 25, 2025, after being caught leaving the scene of a burglary in progress near the 21000 block of Roberts Cemetery Road in Hockley, TX.

Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office West Patrol Division Deputies responded to a burglary call and were provided with a description of the suspect vehicle by the homeowner.

Deputies spotted the suspect vehicle leaving the area and initiated a traffic stop.

During the stop, Deputies detained Sexton (driver) and Chapman (passenger). Several stolen items were visible inside the vehicle.

Both suspects admitted to burglarizing the residence and a nearby camper.

They were arrested and are currently held in the Montgomery County Jail on felony charges of burglary of a habitation.
