Three Arrested in Gang-Related Shooting and Robbery Spree Across Montgomery and Harris Counties

Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Homicide and Violent Crimes Unit have arrested three individuals in connection with a series of violent crimes, including a gang-related shooting and multiple robberies, that occurred on February 17, 2025.

The incidents began around 3:00 PM on February 17, when deputies responded to a report of deadly conduct near the 21800 block of Silver Oak Court in Porter, Texas. A deputy from the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, who was nearby, heard multiple gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, deputies found multiple bullet casings but no injuries. The shooting is believed to be gang-related and retaliatory in nature.

Following the shooting, the suspects proceeded to Harris County, where they committed a robbery, and then returned to Montgomery County to commit another robbery. Detectives identified all potential suspects, leading to the arrest of three individuals. The arrests were made with assistance from various law enforcement agencies, including the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office SWAT team, Gulf Coast Violent Offender Task Force, Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office, Montgomery County Gang Unit, Texas Office of the Inspector General, Houston Police Department SWAT team, Houston Police Department Patrol Division, Harris County Sheriff’s Office VIPER team, and the Montgomery County District Attorney’s Office.

The arrested individuals are currently held in the Montgomery County Jail. They have been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon, and further charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
