Isaac Bass arrested after crash

Isaac Bass, the suspect sought after evading arrest for several days, was captured by Harris County deputies on February 7, 2025.

The search began on January 29, 2025, when the South Houston Police Department notified local agencies, including Houston Police Department, Harris County Constable Precinct 8, and Harris County deputies, about the suspect.

On February 7, deputies were informed that the suspect vehicle had been spotted traveling eastbound on Almeda Road near Telephone Road, towing a gooseneck trailer. A Precinct 8 deputy soon located the vehicle in the 8700 block of Almeda Genoa Road, and a brief pursuit ensued. The suspect crashed in the 8400 block of Almeda Genoa Road and fled on foot.

After a brief search, Precinct 2 deputies deployed a TASER, successfully detaining Bass. It was revealed that he had an outstanding misdemeanor warrant from the Waller County Sheriff’s Office for failure to appear in a burglary case.

Bass was transported to the Joint Processing Center, where he was booked for the open warrant and charged with felony evading arrest.
