Possible Human Remains Found in Burned Vehicle in Conroe
On January 13, 2025, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of possible human remains discovered in a burned vehicle in an overgrown field located in the 9800 block of Forest Lane, Conroe, Texas.
Homicide and Violent Crimes Detectives, Crime Scene Investigators, the Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office, and the Montgomery County Medical Examiner’s Office all responded to the scene and conducted an investigation.
The remains were sent for DNA testing, though a positive identification has not yet been made. The circumstances and manner of death remain under investigation, and authorities have stated that there is no known danger to the public at this time.
