Houston Police Investigate Fatal Shooting at Almeda Genoa Road Gas Station
Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man found at a gas station located at 11211 Almeda Genoa Road in the South Belt/Ellington area on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at approximately 8:55 a.m.
The victim, a 45-year-old man whose identity is pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, arrived at the gas station and informed an employee that he had been shot. Responding Houston Police Department officers provided medical assistance until paramedics from the Houston Fire Department transported the victim to HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake, where he was pronounced dead.
Initial investigations revealed the victim had been shot while inside his vehicle, which showed multiple bullet strikes. At this time, authorities have not identified a motive or any suspects.
