Major Drug Bust in Brazoria County: BCNTF Seizes Drugs, Makes Arrests
Brazoria County Narcotics Task Force (BCNTF), alongside HSI Galveston and the Texas Department of Public Safety, conducted a search warrant in Manvel, TX on June 3rd, 2024, as part of an ongoing investigation into drug activity. The operation, aimed at safeguarding the community, resulted in the secure detention of individuals inside the targeted residence by the Brazoria County Special Response Team (SRT).
Among those detained were Kyra Solorio, 22, and three juveniles. During the search, officers uncovered a significant quantity of drugs, including suspected Fentanyl, Cocaine, Xanax, Marijuana, and THC oil, valued at $20,000. This successful operation is seen as a vital step in removing dangerous substances from neighborhoods, potentially saving lives.
Kyra Solorio, from Rosharon, faces multiple charges, including First-Degree Felony Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance, Second-Degree Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, and Misdemeanor possession of a Controlled Substance.
The collaborative effort between agencies demonstrates BCNTF’s commitment to community safety and emphasizes the importance of cooperation in combating drug trafficking.
