Midland Police Respond to Shooting Incident at Meridian Apartments

At 5:55 a.m. Monday, March 11, 2024, Midland Police responded to a shooting incident at the Meridian Apartments on 4400 Holiday Hill Road in northwest Midland.

According to reports from the Midland Police Department, officers arrived at the scene to find a male victim fleeing to a nearby convenience store on Briarwood Avenue. The victim, identified as a 32-year-old man, sustained injuries from the incident and was subsequently taken to the hospital for treatment. Fortunately, he was later released.

Despite the incident, the victim chose not to press charges against the perpetrators. Authorities are currently seeking information on the two suspects believed to be involved in the shooting. It has been reported that a .380 semiautomatic pistol was allegedly used in the altercation.

In the course of their investigation, the police apprehended an individual on unrelated narcotics charges. However, the main investigation into the shooting is still ongoing as authorities work to gather more details about the incident.
