Motorcyclist Killed in Allen Parkway Crash

A fatal crash occurred at 3309 Allen Parkway around 6:55 p.m. on Tuesday (March 5), prompting an investigation by Houston police.

The victim, a 29-year-old male, was riding a black Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle eastbound near the specified location when he failed to maintain a single lane. Consequently, he collided with a median and was thrown from the motorcycle. Tragically, he landed in the westbound lanes of Allen Parkway, where he was struck by a gray Land Rover Discovery traveling in the same direction.

Upon arrival, Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. The identity of the deceased individual is awaiting confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The driver of the Land Rover remained at the scene and was determined not to be under the influence of any impairing substances.
