Vehicle and Pedestrian Collision Claims Life of 20-Year-Old Woman in League City

A devastating incident occurred on the 200 block of S Egret Bay Blvd at approximately 7:46 p.m., leading to the loss of a 20-year-old woman’s life. The League City Police Department responded after receiving multiple calls reporting a major collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Upon arrival, officers and personnel from the League City Fire Department discovered the victim on the Eastside of the roadway. Despite immediate efforts, the young woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the involved vehicle remained at the location and has been fully cooperative with the League City Police Department throughout the preliminary investigation.
