Police Respond to Shooting in Humble; 15-year-old Suspect in Custody

Authorities from Harris County Constable Precinct 4 have reported a significant police presence near Treaschwig Road and Mala Way following a shooting incident. According to official statements, a 15-year-old juvenile male suspect shot a 27-year-old male victim.

The victim, after being shot, contacted his parents, who quickly rushed to his aid. Shockingly, the suspect fired shots at the vehicle carrying the victim’s parents, though fortunately, they escaped unharmed.

The armed suspect then fled the scene on foot, prompting an intensive search by constable deputies. After an extensive effort, law enforcement successfully located the suspect hiding between houses within the neighborhood. Constable deputies currently have the suspect in custody.

The victim, suffering from life-threatening injuries, has been transported to a local hospital. The investigation is ongoing at the scene, and authorities advise residents to avoid the area as law enforcement continues their work.
