Houston Man Sentenced to 40 Years for Trafficking 15-Year-Old Girl for Commercial Sex

A 32-year-old man, Giovanny Xavier Limon, also known as Ace or Ace One, has been sentenced to federal prison for trafficking a 15-year-old girl for commercial sex using force, fraud, or coercion, according to U.S. Attorney Alamdar S. Hamdani.

Following a four-day trial, a federal jury convicted Limon on July 31. U.S. District Judge David Hittner has ordered him to serve 40 years in federal prison, followed by 10 years of supervised release.

“Sex traffickers have a PhD in manipulation using their skills to exploit our children and steal their innocence,” said Hamdani. “Although Limon stole that from this victim, he could not take her courage. She faced her oppressor at trial, recounting how Limon used her body, selling it to men as a commodity and raping it for his sick pleasure. Thanks to her, the next generation of children will be free—free from a predator’s grasp.”

During the sentencing hearing, the court heard from the victim, who spoke about her experience, describing Limon’s exploitation and its impact on her life. The victim expressed her resilience and determination to move forward despite the traumatic ordeal.

Acting Special Agent in Charge David Martinez of the FBI Houston Field Office commented on the case, stating, “This case is a sad and angering example of innocence lost at the hands of sex traffickers like Limon who don’t care about anything other than exploiting our children.”

Limon trafficked the 15-year-old minor female for commercial sex during May and June 2022. He isolated her from her companions, providing her with little access to communication and no financial means to support herself.

Evidence presented during the trial revealed that Limon forced the minor victim to engage in commercial sex with strangers, providing her with lingerie, photographing her, and taking all proceeds for himself. He posted explicit images of her, using the moniker “Ace One,” in online sex ads.

The victim, controlled by Limon, was subjected to staying in questionable motels, where he tattooed her forearm with the name of a deceased relative. Limon provided her with drugs, including meth, and limited her food intake. Additionally, he engaged in sexual acts with her, despite her being only 15 years old.

The victim testified in detail about her month-long ordeal, supported by hotel records, internet sex ads, and the testimony of a sexual assault treatment exam nurse.

Limon will remain in custody pending transfer to a U.S. Bureau of Prisons facility, determined in the near future. The FBI conducted the investigation as part of the Human Trafficking Rescue Alliance (HTRA).
