Fatal Shooting at South Central Houston Restaurant Under Investigation
The Houston Police Department is currently investigating the fatal shooting of a 34-year-old man identified as Jarrick Hoskins. The incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. on Monday, December 18, at 4405 Emancipation Avenue in South Central Houston.
HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at a business located at the specified address, where they discovered Mr. Hoskins suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Houston Fire Department paramedics transported him to a nearby hospital, where medical professionals pronounced him deceased.
According to investigators, the shooting followed a verbal dispute between the victim and an unidentified suspect. The suspect is described only as a black male aged between 30 and 35 years.
