Deputy Responds to Aggravated Robbery in Northwest Harris County, Had Warrant for Assaulting Pregnant Woman

On December 5, 2023, a deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s Office swiftly responded to a report of Aggravated Robbery in the 8800 block of FM 1960 Bypass Road West. The incident took place at an apartment complex situated at 100 Paramatta.

According to the complainant, Bennett Walker, an acquaintance held him at gunpoint and made off with $200.00 in cash. A subsequent investigation into Walker’s background uncovered open warrants for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Fail to Identify within Harris County. Additionally, Walker was found to be out on a $15,000.00 bond related to charges of Assault of a Pregnant Person.

During the course of his arrest, Walker, confined to the back seat of the patrol car, reportedly began kicking the inner door, resulting in damage.

Constable Mark Herman stated, “Bennett Walker was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for the open warrants. Charges of Criminal Mischief will be considered pending the assessment of the damage. The robbery investigation remains ongoing.”
