The identity of the 62-year-old female victim is awaiting verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

The victim was operating a black Toyota Corolla traveling northbound on the service road and had come to a stop at a red light at the aforementioned location when a gray Nissan Rogue, driven by Bailey, failed to control its speed and collided with the rear of the Toyota.

Tragically, the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene by Houston Fire Department paramedics.
