Juvenile McDonald’s Employee Fatally Stabbed at Cypress Restaurant, Teenage Coworker Detained

CYPRESS, Texas – A juvenile McDonald’s employee was stabbed to death Wednesday night, Oct. 7, 2026, at a restaurant in northwest Harris County, and deputies detained a teenage coworker in connection with the incident.
Deputies with Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a stabbing in progress at the McDonald’s in the 13300 block of Louetta Road in Cypress.
When deputies arrived, they detained a juvenile male suspect and discovered another male juvenile inside the restaurant’s restroom suffering from multiple stab wounds.
Paramedics attempted lifesaving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to Constable Herman’s Office, both the victim and the detained suspect were employees of the McDonald’s restaurant.
Authorities have not released the ages or identities of either juvenile.
Investigators have also not disclosed what led to the stabbing, whether an argument occurred before the attack or what charges the suspect may face.
The investigation remains ongoing.
