Two Arrested, Third Sought After Vehicle Burglary Spree in New Caney

NEW CANEY, Texas — Two suspects are in custody and a third is being sought following a vehicle burglary in progress that led to a large law enforcement response in Montgomery County.
On April 3, 2026, at approximately 6:30 a.m., Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 3 Patrol Deputies responded to the 22800 block of Cuttler Road after a resident reported three individuals actively burglarizing a vehicle.
When deputies arrived, the suspects fled on foot, prompting a coordinated search effort involving the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the Montgomery County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. Aerial support was provided by DPS Air Unit 102, while K9 units conducted a ground search.
Authorities located two adult male suspects hiding inside a nearby RV, where deputies also recovered a significant amount of stolen property.
The suspects were identified as 18-year-old Kenneth Beasley and 18-year-old Kaleal Jackson. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Montgomery County Jail. They face charges of escape and engaging in organized criminal activity.
The third suspect has been identified, and a warrant for his arrest is being prepared.
Investigators with the Montgomery County Auto Theft Task Force and Property Crimes Division believe the suspects may be connected to as many as 10 separate burglary incidents in the area. Deputies are working to return recovered property to its rightful owners.
