CYPRESS, Texas – A woman was arrested Friday after deputies encountered two suspected vehicles and became involved in simultaneous pursuits in the Cypress area, according to authorities.

Deputies with Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office observed two suspect vehicles around Jan. 30, 2026, in the 19900 block of Mueschke Drive. When deputies attempted traffic stops, both drivers refused to stop, prompting two vehicle pursuits.

One of the vehicles was able to evade capture. The second vehicle was tracked to a dead end in the 13900 block of the Grand Parkway, where deputies conducted a felony stop and safely detained the driver without further incident.

The driver was identified as Izaria Marie Escue, 27. Investigators later determined the vehicle she was driving had been reported stolen and it was recovered at the scene.

Escue was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail. She is charged with felony evading arrest and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Her bond was set at $20,000 by the 174th District Court, and her next court hearing is scheduled for March 5, 2026.
