Masked Teen Arrested for Smashing Business Window in Spring, TX

SPRING, TX – On November 9, 2025, a Harris County Constable’s Office sergeant responded to an alarm call in the 2100 block of FM 2920 and discovered a business window had been smashed, causing an estimated $2,000 in damage.
Surveillance footage provided by the business showed a male wearing a black ski mask, white shirt, and black shorts throwing a large rock through the window before fleeing the scene. While patrolling nearby, deputies spotted a man matching the description on Holzwarth Road. He was identified as 17-year-old Maximo Carbajal.
Carbajal admitted to causing the damage. It was noted that he had recently been released on a $100 bond for an attempted burglary of a motor vehicle on November 5, 2025.
Carbajal was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail on a charge of criminal mischief, with bond set at $100 out of County Court 3. It’s almost hard to believe that someone committing a crime while out on a $100 bond is again given the opportunity to bond out for just $100.
