15-Year-Old Charged with Capital Murder in Northwest Houston Shooting

HOUSTON, TX – On Monday, November 3, 2025, Harris County deputies responded to a shooting at The Park at Fallbrook apartments in Northwest Park. They found 15-year-old Jacob Gomez unresponsive from gunshot wounds; he was later pronounced dead at the scene.

Witnesses identified a juvenile suspect, who was taken into custody at an apartment on the complex grounds. A firearm was recovered. Investigators believe the incident may have been related to a transaction between the two juveniles.

The suspect, also 15, has been charged with Capital Murder and is being held in the Harris County Juvenile Detention Facility.
