Pasadena Police Detain Suspect After Stabbing at Walmart

PASADENA, TX – On September 17, 2025, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the Pasadena Police Department responded to a stabbing at Walmart, located at 5200 Fairmont Parkway.

Officers arriving on the scene found an adult male suffering from a stab wound to the upper torso. Witnesses reported that the suspect had already fled the area. The victim was transported via LifeFlight in critical condition to receive emergency medical care. His current condition is not yet known.

Pasadena Police patrol units and Violent Crimes detectives immediately began an investigation. Walmart’s surveillance footage provided photos of the suspect and a vehicle involved. Officers conducted a coordinated search of the area, notifying nearby schools as a precaution.

A short time later, officers located a vehicle matching the description and attempted a traffic stop. The vehicle briefly fled before the driver exited and ran a short distance. Pasadena Police successfully detained the person of interest near the 3000 block of Denkman Street.

The individual is currently in custody and being transported to a hospital for evaluation. Charges may be filed pending the outcome of the ongoing investigation.
