Man Fatally Shot After Argument on Fondren Road

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 8203 Fondren Road around 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 28.

The victim, 48, was found unresponsive in a parking lot with a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is pending notification to family.

Police say the man had been in a verbal argument with another man described only as a Hispanic male. The suspect pulled a gun during the argument and shot the victim before fleeing south on Fondren Road.
