Woman Found Dead in Mid-West Houston Home; Autopsy Pending
Houston police are awaiting autopsy results following the discovery of a deceased woman at a residence on 9200 Westheimer Road last Friday, September 22, at approximately 9:05 a.m.
The woman, aged 40, has yet to be officially identified, and the cause of her death remains pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
According to a statement from the HPD Homicide Division, Sergeant A. Dudley and Detective K. Heaverlo, a family member found the woman unresponsive in the living room of her residence. Houston Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and subsequently pronounced her deceased.
Family members have reported that the woman had consumed alcohol the previous night before returning home and falling asleep. She was discovered lifeless the following morning.
Preliminary findings from the investigation have not indicated any immediate signs of foul play. However, the police investigation will continue, with the outcome pending the results of an autopsy.
