Woman Charged with Assault and Assault on a Peace Officer in Spring Disturbance

A Spring woman faces charges of assault and assault on a peace officer following a disturbance call on June 19, 2025. Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to the 20600 block of Falling Cypress Court after a complainant reported being assaulted by his passenger while driving.

Upon arrival, deputies detained the suspect, identified as 19-year-old Aytierra Jenkins. While in the back seat of a patrol vehicle, Jenkins complained of medical issues, prompting deputies to call EMS for evaluation. When officers opened the patrol door to check on her, she allegedly kicked a deputy in the groin area, causing pain.

Jenkins was arrested and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail. Her bond has been set at $10,500.00 out of County Court 9 and the 209th District Court.
