19-Year-Old Man Fatally Shot at Houston Apartment Complex, Suspect Fled Scene

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of 19-year-old Julius Escobar at an apartment complex located at 8217 Fulton Street around 8 p.m. on Saturday, June 14.

According to HPD Homicide Division Detectives N. Henderson and L. Patterson, patrol officers responded to reports of a shooting and discovered Escobar in the parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers rendered aid at the scene before paramedics arrived and pronounced him deceased.

Investigators say the suspect fled the scene in a white, four-door sedan. The identity and motive of the suspect remain unknown at this time.
