Two Arrested in Fatal April Shooting on Rosewood Street in Houston

Houston police have arrested two suspects in connection with the fatal shooting of 18-year-old Gregory Warren, which occurred at 2919 Rosewood Street on April 9, 2025, at approximately 2:30 p.m.
Abraham Jackson, 31, has been charged with murder in the 208th State District Court. Randy DeWayne Masters, 22, is charged with tampering with evidence in the 262nd State District Court.
HPD Homicide Division Detectives M. Providence and M. Althaus reported that officers responded to the shooting scene and found an unresponsive male, later identified as Warren, in the driver’s seat of a gray sedan. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.
Witnesses at the time reported hearing gunshots and then observed two black male suspects, believed to be between 20 and 25 years old, flee on foot.
Further investigation by detectives identified Jackson and Masters as suspects. Masters was arrested and charged on April 25. Jackson was arrested and charged for Warren’s murder on Friday, June 6. Both suspects were apprehended by the HPD South Central Crime Suppression Team.
