Constable Deputies Seize Large Quantity of Narcotics and Firearms, Arrest Woman in Harris County

Deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Special Operations Unit, in collaboration with the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division, arrested 56-year-old Stephanie James on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, following a narcotics investigation in the 6100 block of Menor Crest Drive.
Based on information received during the investigation, deputies conducted a traffic stop on James’ vehicle in the 21600 block of Kuykendahl Road. During the stop, James was found to be in possession of a variety of illegal narcotics, including crack cocaine, methamphetamine, oxycodone, Xanax, hydrocodone, clonazepam, and diazepam.
Further investigation led to a search of James’ residence, where deputies discovered additional narcotics and four firearms. The total amounts of narcotics seized include 70 grams of Crack Cocaine, 23 grams of Methamphetamine, 95 grams of Methadone, 37 grams of Oxycodone, 113 grams of Xanax, 70 grams of Amphetamines, 3 grams of Shrooms, 2.4 ounces of Marijuana, and 1 gram of THC Wax.
Constable Mark Herman stated, “Stephanie James was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $60,000.00 out of the 263rd District Court.”
