34-Year-Old Woman Found Deceased in Houston Apartment; Cause of Death Pending

Houston police are investigating the death of Brittany Gamble, 34, who was found at an apartment on 666 Maxey Road on Thursday, November 27, at approximately 5:15 p.m.

HPD Homicide Division detectives reported that officers responded to a call regarding a deceased female and spoke with a male who said Ms. Gamble had been staying with him since November 19. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced her deceased at the scene. Officers noted an abrasion on her face and bruising on her upper body.

Further investigation revealed that Ms. Gamble had been reported missing on November 20. The Harris County Medical Examiner’s Office indicated she had likely been deceased for about three days.
