21-Year-Old Shot to Death in Humble; Police Search for 4 Masked Suspects

HUMBLE, TX – Harris County authorities are searching for four masked suspects following a deadly shooting in a quiet Humble neighborhood on Saturday afternoon.
Deputies with the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office responded to an “in progress” shooting call at approximately 3:52 PM on January 10, 2026. The incident occurred in the 8300 block of Vistadale Drive.
The Scene on Vistadale Drive
Upon arrival, deputies discovered Adam Daniel Pineda, 21, sitting in the driver’s seat of his truck, which was stopped in the middle of the roadway. Pineda was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite the arrival of emergency medical personnel, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Suspects Flee on Foot
According to initial witness reports, at least four young males were seen involved in the attack. The suspects were described as:
- Clothing: All wearing dark clothing.
- Disguise: All wearing masks.
- Flight: The group fled the scene on foot immediately after the gunfire.
Law enforcement launched an extensive search of the area using both ground units and air support, but no suspects were located on Saturday.
Investigation and Motive
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation. While the case is in its early stages, detectives have indicated that robbery is a possible motive for the slaying.
Crime Scene Investigators spent Saturday evening processing the truck and the surrounding area for physical evidence. Detectives are currently reviewing neighborhood surveillance footage and following up on investigative leads.
