21-Year-Old Found Dead from Gunshot Wound at Houston Motel

Harris County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call on Sunday, February 2, 2025, around 1:30 p.m., regarding a deceased individual at the Modo Inn motel, located at 1040 Freeport near Cloverleaf. Motel management had received reports of someone found dead inside one of the rooms.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered 21-year-old Joshua Lefrance dead from an apparent gunshot wound. Investigators interviewed several witnesses at the scene and reviewed video surveillance footage.
