18-Year-Old Arrested and Charged in Fatal Glen Manor Drive Shooting in Houston

An 18-year-old man, Brayland Whitehead, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the fatal shooting of Brandon Price, also 18, on Saturday, April 19th.

Houston Police Department (HPD) patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the 7500 block of Glen Manor Drive around 9 p.m. and found Brandon Price unresponsive in the street with gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics pronounced him deceased at the scene.

Initially, there was no known suspect description or motive. However, further investigation by HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Ponder and Detective J. Meister identified Brayland Whitehead as the suspect. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was contacted, and Whitehead was subsequently charged with murder. He has been taken into custody and booked into the Harris County Jail.
