14-Year-Old Evades Police on ATV in Roman Forest, Faces Pending Charges

A 14-year-old male from New Caney led Roman Forest Police on a chase Saturday, February 1st, after evading officers for over two miles on an ATV. The pursuit began near Appian Way and Galaxy Blvd., with the juvenile refusing to stop.

The chase ended when officers deployed a taser to subdue the rider, who was resisting arrest. Once identified as a juvenile, the 14-year-old was released to a parent. He was transported to the hospital by ambulance to treat injuries sustained while fleeing on the four-wheeler.

The Montgomery County Attorney’s office is reviewing pending charges related to the incident.
