14-Year-Old Arrested After Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends in Crash Near Tomball

SPRING, Texas — A 14-year-old boy was arrested after leading deputies on a pursuit in a stolen vehicle that ended in a crash near Tomball, authorities said.
The incident occurred April 5, 2026, when deputies with Constable Mark Herman’s Office observed Montgomery County Constable’s Office Precinct 3 pursuing a vehicle in the 6200 block of State Highway 99 in Spring. Deputies joined the pursuit as the suspect attempted to flee.
Authorities said the driver lost control of the vehicle during the chase and crashed near the intersection of State Highway 99 and Telge Road in Tomball. The suspect was taken into custody at the scene.
Investigators determined the vehicle had been recently stolen. The driver was identified as a 14-year-old juvenile male.
According to officials, the juvenile was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center and charged with evading arrest in a motor vehicle and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
