DUI Driver Crashes into Humble Police Vehicle During Traffic Stop Injuring Officer

On Thursday, February 20, 2025, at approximately 10:20 PM, a Humble Police officer was conducting a routine traffic stop on a yellow Mustang for speeding on US Hwy 59 North near the San Jacinto River bridge. During the stop, a white Lexus sedan collided with the officer’s patrol car, which was parked on the highway shoulder with emergency lights activated. The impact trapped the officer inside the vehicle; however, he managed to break a window and escape.

The driver of the Lexus, identified as 48-year-old Michaell Aguirre-Cintron, was found to be under the influence and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). She is currently in custody. The officer was transported to a hospital for treatment and has since been released to recover at home. The driver of the Mustang was unharmed and allowed to leave the scene after the incident.
