Former Arlington ISD High School Employee Arrested for Improper Relationships with Students
The Arlington Police Department has arrested a former Sam Houston High School employee following a thorough investigation into allegations he had improper relationships with multiple students.
Detectives with APD’s Crimes Against Children Unit obtained arrest warrants for 25-year-old Anthony Hawkins on three counts of Improper Relationship Between Student and Educator and two counts of Indecency with a Child Sexual Contact. He was taken into custody on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 and was booked into the Arlington City Jail.
Due to the nature of the case and the age of the victims, the department will not be releasing the arrest warrant affidavits and will be limited in the information it can share.
Detectives initiated their investigation on August 23, 2023 after school administrators were made aware of the allegations and immediately reported them to the department. Through the course of their investigation, detectives identified three victims.
