Neighbor Arrested for Retaliation After Throwing Bricks at Windows and Barricading Himself

On Sunday, January 19, 2025, deputies responded to a disturbance in the 10200 block of Kittrell Street in the Edgebrook area, involving a neighbor identified as Keith Alan Cook.

According to reports, Cook began throwing bricks at a victim’s windows, causing significant damage. When the victim mentioned law enforcement, Cook threatened her life. Deputies arrived and attempted to contact Cook, who barricaded himself inside his home.

A warrant for Retaliation was issued after charges were accepted. Hours later, Cook continued throwing objects at the victim’s residence, causing additional damage. Cook again refused to exit his home. Deputies spoke with Cook and another resident in the house, who stated she had been threatened by Cook in the past if she opened the door for law enforcement.

Citing exigent circumstances, deputies entered the home and took Cook into custody. Cook, who had an active warrant, now faces an additional charge. No injuries were reported.
