DoorDash Driver Arrested After Threatening McDonald’s Employees in Spring
On January 16, 2025, deputies with Harris County Constable Mark Herman’s Office responded to a disturbance at the McDonald’s in the 22800 block of Cypresswood Drive in Spring, Texas.
Upon arrival, deputies learned that the suspect, later identified as DoorDash delivery driver 34-year-old Wister Cobas, had fled the scene in a vehicle. Deputies located and stopped the suspect’s vehicle shortly afterward.
Investigators determined that Cobas became aggressive after McDonald’s employees declined to provide an order because he refused to show proof of the delivery request. During the confrontation, Cobas allegedly threatened to kill the employees and made gestures suggesting he had a firearm.
Cobas was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Terroristic Threat. His bond was set at $100 in County Court 9.
