15-Year-Old Girl Killed, Two Men Injured in Bellaire Boulevard Shooting

Houston police are investigating a shooting that left a 15-year-old girl dead and two men injured at 6237 Bellaire Boulevard around 9:05 p.m. on Friday, December 13.

The identity of the deceased female is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences. A 29-year-old man and a 21-year-old man were transported to area hospitals. The younger man remains in critical condition, while the older man is expected to recover.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the parking lot of a strip center at the location. Preliminary investigations indicate that individuals in two vehicles became involved in an altercation, leading to an exchange of gunfire. The 15-year-old girl and two men were struck during the incident. Paramedics transported all three victims to hospitals, where the girl was pronounced deceased.

At this time, it is unclear if the two groups involved in the altercation knew each other. Authorities are working to identify the individuals who fired weapons during the incident.
