Drug Dealer Arrested After Resisting Arrest; Found with Cocaine and Adderall in Northwest Harris County

On December 7, 2024, deputies from Constable Mark Herman’s Office conducted a traffic stop in the 11100 block of Cypress North Houston Road in northwest Harris County. The driver, identified as 43-year-old Manuel Garcia, displayed signs of intoxication, prompting deputies to administer a Standardized Field Sobriety Test. Garcia was determined to be under the influence.
As deputies attempted to detain him, Garcia physically resisted and tried to flee. An assisting deputy deployed a taser, successfully gaining compliance and apprehending Garcia. Upon his arrest, deputies discovered 9.4 grams of cocaine and 10.4 grams of Adderall in his possession.
Garcia was booked into the Harris County Jail, facing charges of Driving While Intoxicated and two counts of Possession of Controlled Substance with intent to deliver. His bond has been set at $50,100.00.
