Tomball Man Shot and Killed While Confronting Burglars, Investigation Ongoing

Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators are probing a fatal shooting that occurred early Saturday morning, December 7, 2024, at approximately 1:00 AM in the 15000 block of S. Champagne Circle in Tomball.

The incident began when a male approached an off-duty Harris County Precinct 4 Constable for help while the deputy was pulling into his mobile home driveway. The bleeding male, who had been shot multiple times, collapsed next to the deputy’s truck before losing consciousness. Paramedics arrived and confirmed the man’s death at the scene.

Homicide investigators, along with Crime Scene units, processed the area for evidence and reviewed security footage from nearby homes. They discovered that the victim had been shot during a burglary at his trailer while confronting an unknown number of suspects.

Investigators are working to locate the victim’s roommate, who was not present when deputies arrived. The identity of the shooter remains unknown.
