Houston Police Investigating Deadly Shooting at Richmond Avenue Gas Station

Houston police are investigating a shooting at a gas station located at 8601 Richmond Avenue that left one man dead and another injured on Sunday, December 8, 2024, around 5:05 p.m.

Officers arrived at the scene to find a 33-year-old man unresponsive on the floor of the convenience store. He was transported by paramedics to a hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. A second victim, a 24-year-old man, was found with a gunshot wound to his arm and was transported to a hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is described as a Black male wearing a white hoodie, black beanie, multi-colored pants with white drawstrings, and black shoes.
