Man Shot and Killed at Houston Apartment Complex on W. Airport Blvd; Suspect at Large

Houston police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at 8100 West Airport Boulevard on Saturday, December 7, 2024, at approximately 10:10 p.m. The identity of the victim, a male, is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD officers responded to a shooting at an apartment complex and found the victim with multiple gunshot wounds lying in the parking lot. Paramedics from the Houston Fire Department arrived and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Witnesses reported hearing several gunshots and seeing an unknown male suspect running through the complex after the shooting. The suspect is described as approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build, wearing all black clothing.

At this time, the motive for the shooting remains unclear, and no arrests have been made.
