High-Speed Chase Ends in Arrests After Domestic Disturbance at Humble Pharmacy

On the morning of Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Humble Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance involving a firearm in the parking lot of Humble Pharmacy at 10:06 a.m. Upon arrival, Officers J. Ibanez and R. King observed two vehicles driving aggressively and attempting to block one another in.

As officers approached, a black Nissan Altima fled the scene, initiating a high-speed pursuit. Officer King took the lead in the chase, supported by Officer Ibanez. The vehicle traveled over five miles, reaching speeds of up to 100 mph and weaving through traffic before entering a residential neighborhood on Blue Jay Twin.

The chase ended when the driver and a female passenger abandoned the vehicle and fled on foot. A male passenger, who remained in the car, was detained at the scene. With assistance from Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Deputies, the Traffic Division, the Detective Division, and the Real-Time Crime Center, the two fleeing suspects were also apprehended.

The Real-Time Crime Center deployed a drone to locate the female suspect, who was found hiding in the bed of a truck.

The driver faces charges of Evading in a Motor Vehicle, the female passenger was charged with Evading on Foot, and the male passenger was taken into custody for an outstanding warrant.

Police credited Dispatch’s efficient communication and the coordinated efforts of all involved agencies for the safe resolution of the incident.
