Man Found Shot Dead at West Houston Apartment Complex, Suspect At Large

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 34-year-old man at The Lodge at West Oaks apartment complex, located at 14911 Richmond Avenue, in West Houston. The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, November 14.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim unresponsive on a set of stairs. He had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Houston Fire Department paramedics arrived shortly after and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene. The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Witnesses reported seeing a suspect, described as an unknown black male, fleeing the scene in a matte black, two-door Mercedes Benz.
