Stabbing Follows Breakup: Harris County Deputies Investigate Altercation
On Tuesday, January 30, Harris County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an incident at a residence in the 3200 block of Bolton Gardens, near Veterans Memorial and the Sam Houston Tollway in North Harris County.
Preliminary investigations reveal that an 18-year-old male, reportedly upset over a recent breakup with his 17-year-old girlfriend, visited her family’s residence. The female’s brother intervened, urging the suspect to leave. A physical altercation ensued between the two males, during which the suspect allegedly produced a knife and stabbed the other male. The suspect then fled the scene on foot.
Emergency services were called, and the stabbed male was transported to a hospital in critical condition. Meanwhile, the suspect was located and found to have a minor injury to his hand. He was also transported to a hospital for further evaluation.
The investigation is ongoing.
