Traffic Stop Uncovers Warranted Individual: Woman Arrested for Forgery and Assault Charges

On Tuesday, December 5, 2023, Toll Road Deputies from Constable Jerry Garcia’s Office carried out a routine traffic stop in the 8100 block of the South Sam Houston Tollway East. The stop was initiated due to an unreadable temporary tag on the vehicle.

During the stop, the driver failed to provide proper identification, offering false information instead. However, through investigative measures, the Deputy was able to identify the driver as 31-year-old Keyerra Andrea Daniel, utilizing fingerprints.

Further inquiry revealed that Ms. Daniel had an outstanding warrant issued by the Parole Board in Austin, Texas, for forgery. Additionally, there were two open warrants from the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office in Richmond, Texas, for assault causing bodily injury.

In accordance with the law, Ms. Daniel was safely taken into custody by the deputies. She was subsequently transported and booked into The Harris County Joint Processing Center on charges of Fail to Identify, as well as the open warrants related to forgery and assault causing bodily injury. The arrest was conducted without incident.
