Arrest Made in Assault on Pregnant Victim Following Disturbance in Harris County

On November 26, 2023, Constable Mark Herman’s Office deputies responded to a disturbance in the 6000 block of Wilcox Point Ct. Upon arrival, it was revealed that a suspect had assaulted a pregnant victim and subsequently fled the scene.

During the course of the investigation, deputies received information about a nearby vehicle crash involving the suspect. The individual was apprehended and identified as 20-year-old Derrick Roshaon Ivey.

Derrick Ivey was taken into custody and subsequently booked into the Harris County Jail. He faces charges of Felony Assault of a Pregnant Person, and his bond has been set at $5,000.00.
