Suspect Charged in Fatal Shooting on Belle Park Drive in West Houston

Charges have been officially filed against Jose Jorge Cisneros, 51, in connection with the fatal shooting that occurred last Friday at 4406 Belle Park Drive around 3:40 p.m. Cisneros is now facing a murder charge in the 488th State District Court.
The victim, believed to be in his mid to late 60s, was discovered unresponsive on the kitchen floor with a gunshot wound when Houston Police Department (HPD) patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the residence. Despite the quick response of Houston Fire Department paramedics, the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Cisneros, the identified suspect, voluntarily surrendered to officers without incident at the scene. The Harris County District Attorney’s Office was notified, leading to the formal filing of charges against Cisneros for his alleged role in the shooting.
The identity of the victim is currently pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.
