Houston Man Arrested in Armed Robbery at Fondren Road Barbershop

HOUSTON, Texas — A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with an aggravated robbery at a haircut business in southwest Houston, police said.

Langston Hamilton is charged with Aggravated Robbery – Deadly Weapon in the 487th State District Court, stemming from an incident that occurred around 6:00 p.m. on February 20, 2026, in the 2700 block of Fondren Road.

According to investigators, Hamilton entered the business as a customer and received a haircut. After the service was completed, he allegedly produced a handgun and demanded money from the owner. The victim complied, and the suspect fled the location on foot.

A Houston Police robbery detective later identified Hamilton as a suspect during the investigation. Charges were filed and a warrant was issued on February 27, 2026.

That same day, officers with the Houston Police Gang Division’s Tactical Surveillance Unit located Hamilton as he exited a Metro bus and entered a vehicle. After observing a traffic violation, officers conducted a stop, confirmed his identity, and took him into custody on the outstanding warrant.

Hamilton was transported to the Harris County Jail, where he was booked on the aggravated robbery charge.
