Man Arrested After Shots Fired at League City Gas Station

League City police arrested a Houston man Saturday morning after a shooting at a busy gas station that left one person shaken but unharmed.
Officers were called to the Chevron station at the intersection of Alabama Avenue and East Main Street around 9:15 a.m. on January 10th after reports of gunfire. When police arrived, they found the victim inside a vehicle. The victim told officers the shooter was someone he knew and said the suspect fired multiple shots while he was seated in the car. No injuries were reported.
Investigators identified the suspect as 39-year-old Michael Huffman of Houston. According to police, Huffman fled the scene on foot immediately after the shooting.
Just minutes later, around 9:26 a.m., officers spotted Huffman walking nearby and took him into custody without incident. He has been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and his bond was set at $40,000.
